Of Her Own Kind is a clothing studio based in upstate New York inspired by the timeless beauty of pieces with a past, craft, and sustainability.  

All of our garments are created from organic, sustainable, or natural fibers and are sewn locally in New York supporting local skilled labor & women-owned ateliers.

We believe in creating beautiful, timeless pieces that can be worn season after season and give their wearer a sense of comfort, ease, and delight  while  preserving the craft of sewing as an artisanal skill by using classic dressmaking techniques made to last for years not seasons.
