OUR PROCESS

BEHIND THE SCENES

From sketch to delivery take a look inside our studio and see our process behind Collection 1...

First comes inspiration. Collection 1 took inspiration from the city of New York, the work of photographer Corinne Day from the 1990s, and the indomitable spirit of the OHOK woman.

Next step is sketching, lots of sketching (see the VERY beginning of the pink pants in the sketch below!)

These sketches are then edited and drafted as paper patterns to get ready to create 3-D toiles or fabric "rough drafts".

The 3-D toiles get sewn and we have fittings on fittings to get details and shape just right...

We meanwhile create all our original print artwork which gets sent to India to be tested for embroidery techniques.

Swatches get sent back, redone, and tweaked until final fabric come back to be sewn in New York to become our bomber...

Then final samples are made right in the heart of midtown Manhattan.

Next it's time to shoot the lookbook.  But first castings...

Behind the scenes on set for our lookbook shoot.

Finished images get discussed, edited and finalized.

Then production gets underway: here are newly embroidered sweatshirts ready to ship...

Final step is orders are packaged with love by our small team, signed with a handwritten note and shipped on it's way to YOU!!
